Job Description

We're looking for a passionate, driven and energetic candidate to join our team as a Human Resources Associate located in our Head Office in Guelph, Ontario. This role requires you to work in our Guelph office minimum 3 days per week.

As a Human Resources Associate, you will be providing HR support with a focus on recruitment and selection, employee relations and payroll and benefits administration while supporting our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities.
What we look for:

  • Knowledge of relevant employment legislation, e.g. ESA, OHSA and its regulations, WSIB, Human Rights, AODA, etc.
  • Experienced in administration and applicable payroll laws.
  • Demonstrated tact and diplomacy with highly confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Superior multi-tasking and organizational skills while remaining detail oriented.
  • Able to be proactive with good problem solving skills, judgment and innovation.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with an enthusiasm for working with the public.
  • Capable of operating
and meeting deadlines. * Post-Secondary Education (HR Diploma/Degree preferred) and one (1) year related experience in Human Resources OR relevant combination of education and experience.
  • CHRP Designation or pursuit of is considered an asset.
