Cohen Highley LLP is currently recruiting a Human Resources Assistant for our Downtown London office.
Responsibilities:
Bi-weekly payroll administration
Administration and communication of group benefits
Maintaining attendance records
Recruitment - Drafting job descriptions, posting ads, candidate screening, and assessment
Onboarding of new employees
Maintaining employee records
Health and Safety and Employee Wellness
Event scheduling
Minute taking
Assistance with new legislation
Other office duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or related discipline
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Human Resources role
Experience with preparing bi-weekly payroll (Familiarity with UKG considered an asset)
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The Human Resources Assistant will be able to create strong, positive professional relationships with staff and external contacts. We are looking for a candidate who has superb organizational and multi-tasking abilities with a strong attention to detail. This will be an exciting opportunity to learn in a professional, client-focused environment. This position will provide HR administrative support through a variety of data entry, file maintenance, payroll, benefits, health and safety and recruiting tasks. This position will also assist with event planning and will belong to various committees across the firm.
