Key Responsibilities:



Working with the Employee Relations and Workforce Planning team, this position will mostly provide support on workforce planning and data analytics. We are looking for someone who is analytically inclined and who will work with our managers and support teams to deliver performance indicators and conclusions from analysis of data supporting sound business decisions.



You will create reports and dashboards and analyze labour cost and other data, review trends, and keep up to date on corporate initiatives and industry standards. Your analysis will inform organizational design, labour modelling, and programs that support effective cost management. You will work closely with other professionals to ensure alignment on priority business needs and initiatives that steward to Hydro's policies, principles and values. You will support other areas within the department as needed, including employee relations and employment policy. To be successful in this role you will have the ability to develop and foster a relationship with diverse individuals. You will have high initiative, exercise good judgment and have the ability to convey key and critical information in an effective manner develop.



What We're Looking For:



Strong written and oral communication skills;



Strong interpersonal skills and have a demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex issues;



Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.



What You'll Need:





You have graduated with a Bachelor Degree of Commerce or Business Administration with specialization in Human Resources and/or Industrial Relations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;



A minimum of five (5) years' experience in the Human Resources and/or Labour Relations field;



Master of Business Administration/Master of Employment Relations or CPHR designation would be an asset;



You will possess proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically advanced Excel skills and have the ability to create reports using data visualization tools such as Power BI;



You have in-depth experience working with data from various systems (such as JD Edwards Enterprise One) and a strong understanding of Human Resources Information Systems.
