NVIT anticipates the need for an exempt, full-time, ongoing Human Resources Advisor at our Burnaby campus and invites applications from qualified candidates. The anticipated start date will be as soon as the suitable candidate is available. Position Summary: Under the direction of the Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resources Advisor leads to promote a positive, healthy, and supportive working environment. The HR Advisor provides confidential support to all employee groups within the Institution relating to HR. Processing payroll, T4s, pension, WorkSafe, and Employer Health Tax, as well as assisting with contracts, professional development, recruitment, employee orientation, health and wellness, employee morale, and the completion of a variety of HR reports also falls under the responsibility of this position. The HR Advisor will also support Burnaby campus operations and provide administrative support to Leadership Team members. This includes being the primary point of contact on behalf of the Employee Wellness Committee, assisting with campus events, meetings and initiatives, and requests from the President\xe2\x80\x99s office. The HR Advisor will work collaboratively with the HR team members based at the Merritt Campus.
