Job Description

The Human Resources Administrator provides administrative support to the HR department and assists with the coordination of HR processes. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their HR skills while contributing to the overall success of the organization.




Key Responsibilities




Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and HR team. Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. Support onboarding of new employees, including organizing onboarding documents, preparing orientation materials, and ensuring accurate electronic filing of employee records. Maintain employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality. Assist with benefits administration and responding to employee inquiries. Help coordinate training sessions and maintain training records. Prepare HR-related documents, letters, and reports as required. Support compliance with company policies and employment legislation. Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills




Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is an

asset

. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in data entry. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Working Conditions




Part-time hours (22 per week), with flexibility depending on business needs. Office environment, based at the Edmonton Corporate Office, with occasional interaction at different site locations.
