As an intern at HUB, you'll be part of our collaborative culture where your contributions matter and your growth is supported. This internship is specifically designed to give you exposure to the many career opportunities within the fast-growing insurance brokerage industry.
You'll gain hands-on experience working alongside our Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Employee Benefits, or Retirement & Private Wealth teams, learning the ins and outs of our business while exploring areas like client service, sales, and more.
Throughout the program, you'll learn directly from industry experts across risk, insurance, employee benefits, retirement, and wealth management, building both your professional skills and the foundation for a successful future career.
Full-time, paid, May to August (17-week) internship working out of our Downtown Toronto Office.
Program Highlights

• Full-Time Pathway: Our program is strategically designed to identify and nurture exceptional talent. Top-performing interns will have the opportunity to pursue full-time roles across HUB's branches nationwide after graduation.

Through our Speaker Series, you'll hear directly from industry leaders while building connections with interns and professionals across the organization, gaining nationwide networking opportunities and a truly hands-on industry experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities May Include:

• Preparing and analyzing monthly and quarterly performance reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity for clients.

• Conducting peer reviews and quality checks to maintain high reporting standards.

• Communicating with investment managers, custodians, and recordkeepers to gather data and insights.

• Supporting the Consulting team by providing timely analysis and value-added solutions for client needs.

• Researching and evaluating investment managers, analyzing performance, strategy, and portfolio characteristics.

• Collaborating with internal teams on manager research, due diligence, and industry trends.

• Assisting in investment governance services, including asset allocation modeling and rebalancing recommendations

What you will bring to the role:

• Students completing a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field with a Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 graduation.

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

• A positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn about the insurance industry.

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills

• Strong organizational skills, adept at prioritizing and handling multiple tasks.

• A collaborative team player with a desire to help others.

• Independent and self-motivated, capable of autonomous work
