Job Summary


We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Hote/Hotesse to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the front-of-house operations, including greeting guests, managing reservations, and providing assistance to ensure a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities



Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and satisfaction. Assist in coordinating with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Supervise front-of-house staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent hospitality skills. Collaborate with restaurant management to implement service standards and improve guest experiences. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant policies and procedures.

Skills



Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising staff in a hospitality setting. Proficient in cash handling with attention to detail in financial transactions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective guest interaction. Background in food preparation or bartending is a plus for enhancing guest experiences. Knowledge of restaurant management practices to contribute to operational efficiency. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

chaleureux(se), dynamique et oriente(e) vers le service a la clientele pour se joindre a notre equipe. En tant que premier point de contact avec notre clientele, vous serez responsable d'offrir un accueil exceptionnel et de contribuer a une experience memorable. Vous jouerez un role cle dans la gestion des operations en salle, la coordination des reservations et le bon deroulement du service.

Responsabilites principales :



Accueillir les clients des leur arrivee avec courtoisie et professionnalisme afin de creer une ambiance conviviale. Gerer les reservations et les plans de salle pour optimiser le roulement et la satisfaction des invites. Coordonner avec la cuisine et le personnel de service pour assurer un service rapide et efficace. Effectuer les transactions monetaires avec precision et s'assurer de l'exactitude de la caisse. Superviser l'equipe a l'avant, offrir du soutien et veiller au respect des standards de service. Repondre aux questions et aux preoccupations des clients de facon courtoise et professionnelle. Travailler en etroite collaboration avec la direction pour ameliorer les procedures et l'experience client. Participer a la formation des nouveaux employes en ce qui concerne les politiques et les procedures de l'etablissement.

Competences et qualifications recherchees :



Experience en supervision ou en gestion dans un environnement de restauration ou d'hotellerie. Aisance avec la gestion de l'argent comptant et les transactions electroniques. Excellentes habiletes de communication orale et ecrite en francais (anglais un atout). Une experience en preparation alimentaire ou en service de bar est un atout important. Bonne connaissance des operations en restauration et des normes de service a la clientele. Esprit d'equipe, attitude positive et capacite a performer sous pression. Sens de l'organisation et aptitude a gerer plusieurs taches a la fois dans un milieu dynamique.
