Description


Ledcor is seeking a dedicated Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) Training Advisor to play a pivotal role in the development, delivery, and evolution of our HS&E training programs across the organization.



In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate closely with Operating Group leadership to assess training needs, customize third-party course content, and deliver impactful sessions that drive compliance, elevate safety standards, and empower our teams. You'll evaluate program effectiveness, maintain up-to-date training resources, and serve as a key liaison with external training vendors--ensuring that our workforce is equipped with the knowledge and tools to work safely and effectively on every project.

Essential Responsibilities:

Deliver customized HS&E training to diverse stakeholder groups, including frontline workers, office staff, and leadership, using both in-person and virtual formats Facilitate a wide range of courses such as Fall Protection, Confined Space, Firewatch, Spill Awareness, Supervisor Safety, and more, including Energy Safety Canada-certified programs Support Operating Groups by identifying training needs, tailoring 3rd party content, and promoting continuous improvement in HS&E practices Coordinate all logistical aspects of training, including scheduling, booking, billing (e.g., CLAC), and managing records in Workday Learning Maintain active certifications and submit required documentation to external training providers and internal stakeholders Contribute to the design and development of training content, interactive modules, and scenario-based materials that meet regulatory and organizational standards Interface with the Workday team and project personnel to resolve training tracking issues and maintain accurate training records Engage with leadership and teams across the organization to align training with business goals and foster a strong culture of safety and environmental awareness

Qualifications:

4+ years experience in developing and delivering HS&E training programs in a corporate environment Advanced knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards, with the ability to apply them effectively in training contexts Proven experience designing and delivering safety training programs in corporate or industrial environments, tailored to diverse operational needs Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage learners across various roles and learning environments Analytical and detail-orientated, with the ability to manage training records, track compliance, and ensure accuracy in reporting and documentation Proficient in using learning management systems for scheduling, tracking, and reporting training activities Experience working in a large company with diverse operating groups and geographical locations
