Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 annually

The Opportunity






Are you passionate about creating safer workplaces and protecting the environment? We're seeking a seasoned Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional to lead strategic initiatives that minimize risk to people, property, and environment. In this dynamic role, you'll shape and drive comprehensive HSE programs across diverse business units, ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering a proactive safety culture. What You'll Do






Your responsibilities will include:

Program Management & Compliance:

Design and implement robust HSE policies aligned with federal, state, and provincial regulations. Stay ahead of legislative changes and ensure our practices evolve accordingly.

Inspections & Audits:

Conduct field inspections and audits, collaborating with internal teams and regulatory agencies to uphold safety standards.

Incident Management:

Lead investigations into incidents and near misses, uncover root causes, and drive corrective actions. Partner with HR on Return to Work programs.

Training & Communication

: Deliver impactful safety training and communications. Develop task-specific competency assessments and serve as a trusted HSE advisor.

Documentation & Reporting

: Maintain meticulous records and produce insightful reports on safety performance metrics.

Technical & Regulatory Support

: Liaise with regulatory bodies, oversee equipment inspections, and ensure compliance with specialized safety protocols.




What You Bring



Certification in Occupational Health & Safety and a professional designation (NCSO, CRSP, or CSP) 5-10 years of HSE experience, ideally within a similar industry Expertise in safety program development, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with OSHA 511 A valid driver's license and passport, with the ability to travel across Canada and the U.S.
