Position Summary:

This introduces public health theory and practice. Consideration will be given to the history and development of public health movements in Canada and globally; the integration of health knowledge into institutional policy and professional practise; and the methodological, scientific, social, professional, and organizational bases of public health.

Qualifications - Required: Masters Degree

Qualifications - Other: MA in Public Health (or related area). Previous university teaching is essential; those with professional experience and/or refereed publications in the area preferred.

Salary: $5,236.00

This appointment is in accordance with the , for which the Wilfrid Laurier Faculty Association (WLUFA) is the exclusive bargaining agent.
