Langley Christian School is accepting applications for a High School English & French Teacher to begin September 2, 2025 - June 26, 2026. This is a fixed term posting to cover a leave.

THE POSITION

The High School English & French Teacher will collaborate with members of staff to create innovative programming and learning opportunities. You will ensure effective implementation of inclusive practices for all students while creating a rigorous learning environment. You possess energy, commitment and readiness to participate in extra-curricular programming by coaching basketball or volleyball.

QUALIFICATIONS

BC Ministry of Education Certification Relevant university qualifications (Bachelor of Education, minor, concentration or major in English and French) Previous experience teaching at a secondary level Experience at an independent school is an asset A comprehensive understanding of language curriculum as per Ministry of Education BC documents Strong computer skills, including Google suite Model high standards in teaching practice, interactions with all stakeholders Known to communicate, negotiate, collaborate and build partnerships effectively

WHAT DO WE OFFER?
