We have an exciting opportunity to join the firm of a HR/Office Administrator within our Calgary office.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:



Provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure the smooth running of HR and office operations.

Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires, including preparing welcome materials, coordinating IT setup, and reviewing policies.

Support with staff scheduling, time-off tracking, and maintaining accurate employee records.

Help coordinate and prepare documentation for performance reviews and employee check-ins.

Assist managers with routine employee relations matters.

Maintain and update HR files, personnel records, and internal databases.

Coordinate office supplies, equipment maintenance, and liaise with vendors or building management as needed.

Ensure confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.

Support payroll processes by gathering timesheets, benefits information, and forwarding data to payroll providers.

Help maintain a positive and professional office environment in line with the firm's values and policies.

Perform general office administration duties such as filing, scanning, and mail handling.

Other duties as assigned.

Experience:



2-4 years of experience in a HR support or office administration role, preferably within a professional services or legal environment.

Personal injury experience

Excellent time management skills and organizational skills and the ability to work independently

Empathetic with an effective ability to build rapport with clients and team members.

Strong skills at setting and enforcing clear and fair boundaries with work expectations.

Excellent accuracy and the ability to exercise initiative and good judgment.

Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands, volumes and schedules based on the litigation schedule.
