Job Purpose:

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for providing systems expertise and is accountable for the effective and efficient administration of SECURE\xe2\x80\x99s HR and Payroll related HRIS functions. This includes providing technical support while ensuring data integrity, identifying opportunities for system improvements, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and produce reports, and working closely with the technical team to implement necessary updates and integrations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Technical point of contact for SECURE\xe2\x80\x99s HRIS system (UKGPro), responsible for improving, troubleshooting, and maintaining all applications of the HRIS system
  • Play a key role within the People & Culture Team to establish and improve processes, reporting, and metrics
  • Understand how the HRIS can be configured to support processes; seek out, identify, and engage in opportunities for improvement through efficiencies and/or automation
  • Utilize advanced problem-solving skills to diagnose day-to-day HRIS related issues/ requirements and troubleshoot solutions
  • Provide reporting and analytics support, including the generation of accurate and timely standard and ad-hoc reports for all stakeholders including Senior Leaders, Executives, and the Board of Directors
  • Continually self-educate on UKG system capabilities and emerging functionalities; Constantly seek out opportunities for better automation through the HRIS system
  • Support mass employee data changes for employees by building and performing data imports
  • Engage in projects related to HRIS system upgrades and process changes
  • Responsible for recommending, testing, and implementing HRIS updates
  • Maintain documentation for systems, processes, procedures, and infrastructure configuration
  • Engage with external consultants; Work with specialized teams to design and implement solutions and upgrades
Qualifications/Competencies:

The individual in this role will have:
  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Commerce/Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years in a HR focused role, with specific experience as an HRIS Analyst, HRIS/HR Systems role
  • Excellent computer and Microsoft Excel skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail with proven analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong customer service focus
  • Aptitude to work collaboratively with team members and other business leaders to manage change
  • A creative and curious approach to innovating and problem solving
  • Experience with UKG Pro and Power BI Reporting would be considered an asset
