Under the general direction of the Human Resources Data & Analysis Lead, the HR Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining
the HR system, including implementing improvements, ensuring data quality, and analyzing and reporting on the data. The HR
Systems Analyst will translate business objectives into system requirements to optimize processes, improve efficiency and improve
the user experience. This is an 18-month term position with the potential to be posted permanently at the end of the term, depending
on the organization's operational requirements.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that the HRMS system and surrounding processes meet the needs of the corporation, employees and other
stakeholders through researching best practices and promoting continuous improvement. Partner with internal stakeholders to translate business objectives and user needs into clearly written technical requirements.
Coordinate, test and implement mass data changes to HRMS.
Work with IT business partners, including the completion of work requests, to formulate recommendations and strategies for
process improvements and create optimal HR solution designs to meet business objectives.
Working with the Senior Payroll Advisor and Payroll Supervisor, coordinate, test and implement year-end system updates.
Maintain and support HR technology systems, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in HR Systems.
Assist with the controls and documentation in relation to the release and implementation of any new functionality, or changes
to current HRMS configuration.
Ensures modifications and upgrades are successfully tested before implementation to the live environment.
Participate on the HR EHSM Prioritization team.
Represent the HR Division from a system and business process perspective on various teams.
Plans, arranges and in some instances provides training for staff as needed on the use of the HRMS. Including initial training
for new users, training on new processes or training to groups on specific functionality.
Assists in development of standard reports and ad hoc queries as needed to meet ongoing customer needs.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in HR systems.
Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
Qualifications:
Related four year university degree (eg Social Sciences, Statistics, Commerce, Business Administration, Information
Technology, etc) plus two years Human Resource related experience.
OR Related two year diploma from an institute of recognized standing plus four years Human Resource related experience.
Thorough knowledge of principles, practices, and current trends in HRMS with a focus on applying key technologies to

product and service development, delivery and support.
Advanced knowledge of HR data systems and data analysis software/tools (e.g., SAP ECC/SF, HRMS, SPSS and Power BI)
with the ability to create ad hoc queries or design analytic reports.
Knowledge and experience with application system projects, system maintenance and support.
Strong written and communication skills for reports, correspondence, policies, testing and other HR applications.
Knowledge of research methods, data collection and statistical analysis.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP Success Factors considered an asset.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
Adaptable and flexible in responding to changes in the business environment, labour market and company requirements.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications.
Project management experience and knowledge considered an asset.
Demonstrated ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Salary Range
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $36.02-$49.84 Hourly,
$69,020.64-$95,503.46 Annually.
