Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable HR Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving HR initiatives, supporting talent acquisition, and ensuring the smooth delivery of core HR processes. This position requires a solid understanding of human resources practices, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while partnering with employees and leadership to foster a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including drafting job postings, screening applicants, coordinating and participating in interviews, and issuing offers to selected candidates.
Draft and implement employment agreements in compliance with company policies and applicable legislation.
Coordinate and deliver effective onboarding, orientation, and training programs for new hires.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee training and development records.
Manage employee benefits enrollment and provide guidance to staff regarding available options.
Develop, update, and communicate the employee handbook to ensure clarity and consistency in workplace policies.
Support and guide management in conducting formal workplace investigations.
Prepare and implement averaging agreements for site employees following management approval.
Conduct periodic site visits to communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and address any workplace concerns.
Ensure organizational compliance with employment standards and relevant legislation.
Assess workforce competency requirements and design targeted interventions to build skills in line with evolving business needs.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR data to meet regulatory and company standards.
Collect, analyze, and interpret workforce data to support evidence-based decision-making.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven 2 years of experience in human resources management or a related field.
Familiarity with data collection methods and data entry best practices.
Proficiency in using HR software.
Strong skills in talent acquisition and HR sourcing techniques.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
License/Certification:
CPHR Certification (preferred)
