Position Summary
Milo is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee and execute day-to-day human resources operations across the organization. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full spectrum of HR functions--from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, compliance, and organizational development. You'll play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting team growth, and ensuring compliance with HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
Advise management and employees on HR policies, employment standards, and performance management
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
Coordinate benefits administration, time-off tracking, and support payroll processing
Develop and update internal policies, handbooks, and HR procedures
Support employee engagement, internal communications, and training initiatives
Ensure ongoing compliance with BC employment regulations and company policies
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Manager role
Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Strong knowledge of BC labour laws and HR compliance
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with HRIS systems
Preferred Qualifications
CHRP or CPHR designation (completed or in progress)
Mandarin Chinese language skills are a strong asset
Experience in a small to mid-sized business environment with hands-on HR responsibilities
