About the Company
A leading company in the civil construction sector, currently involved in one of the most important railway projects in Toronto, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with Canadian labor laws, employment standards, and company policies.
Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR issues.
Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and best practices.
Support workforce planning and personnel management.
Manage payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR reporting.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR management, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
Full knowledge of Canadian labor laws and regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural, and project-based environment.
HR certifications (CHRP, CHRL, or equivalent) are a plus.
Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
