AppleOne is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager in Sarnia/Corunna to oversee HR operations across three locations in Ontario, Alberta, and New Brunswick. This hands-on role manages all aspects of HR, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, compliance, and training.
(100% In-Office)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
70-90k dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding across all branches.
- Advise leaders on performance management, employee relations, and policy application.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and union requirements across multiple provinces.
- Oversee benefits, payroll coordination, and compensation benchmarking.
- Manage training programs and certification tracking for safety and compliance.
- Support a strong safety-focused and team-oriented workplace culture.
- 5-7 years of HR experience, ideally within construction, industrial, or oil & gas sectors.
- CHRP/CHRL designation (or in progress) preferred.
- Strong understanding of multi-provincial employment law; cross-border experience an asset.
- Proven ability to manage HR across multiple sites and remote teams.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, HRIS platforms, and related systems.
