The Opportunity



If you've been supporting HR, in recruiting, office management, or an HR coordinator role, and are ready to own the HR function for a company, this is your next step.

You'll manage the day-to-day HR operations that keep our people supported and our systems running smoothly. You'll handle recruitment, HRIS updates, policy management, benefits and employee processes, while also partnering with our European HR counterparts and contractors worldwide.

We'll give you the structure, systems, and mentorship to succeed, and the autonomy to grow your career as you help shape how HR operates in a fully remote, tech-driven company.

Key Responsibilities



Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation Manage and optimize our Humi HRIS system, ensuring accurate data and reporting Coordinate end-to-end recruitment using online tools, job boards, and LinkedIn Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee life-cycle processes Manage HR documentation in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) Communicate and follow up with managers on performance, development, and compliance tasks Partner with European HR and collaborate with contractors across multiple countries Use AI and digital tools to improve efficiency and simplify workflows Provide data-driven insights and suggestions for continuous improvement in people operations

What You Bring



3 - 4 + years of HR-related experience, a Certificate or Diploma in a human resources related program, or a combination of education and experience (give us details) Solid knowledge of Canadian employment practices and HR fundamentals Benefits management Experience with Humi or similar HRIS platforms Proficiency with Google Workspace and Slack Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and online hiring tools Strong soft skills: communication, empathy, confidentiality, and follow-through Tech curiosity, comfortable experimenting with AI tools and automation Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a remote environment HR designation (CPHR or in progress) is an asset but not required

Pay: $55,000.00-$63,000.00 per year
