Position Summary
Milo is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our growing team. This role will support a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, people-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for new hires across departments.
Support managers and employees with day-to-day HR questions and guidance.
Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation in compliance with applicable laws.
Administer benefits, time-off tracking, and assist with payroll coordination.
Coordinate performance review processes and assist with training and development initiatives.
Ensure company policies are up to date and consistently applied.
Support HR-related projects including engagement surveys, process improvements, and internal communications.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of HR generalist experience.
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
Strong understanding of BC employment law and HR best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
CHRP or CPHR designation (completed or in progress).
Reading Chinese and speaking Mandarin is an asset
Exposure to recruitment for marketing, operations, or technical roles
