We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations, and supporting organisational growth. The role involves working with HRIS systems, maintaining employee data, and supporting recruitment and onboarding activities. Responsibilities
Manage and maintain employee records using HRIS platforms such as Workday.
Support recruitment processes including data entry, applicant tracking, and onboarding procedures.
Manage the administration of employee benefits programmes and payroll processing.
Coordinate with various departments to facilitate effective communication and HR initiatives.
Prepare reports on HR and analyse data to support decision-making processes.
Handle administrative tasks related to human resources functions such as scheduling interviews, organising training sessions, and maintaining documentation.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies.
Maintains training plans and ensure compliance with requirements
Promotes workplace safety and maintains records
Implements recognition programs.
Responsible for discipline, investigations and maintenance of personnel files
Skills
Proven experience with HRIS systems including Workday or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of human resources principles and best practices.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organisation.
Proficiency in data entry and management within HR systems.
Experience with social media management for recruitment or employer branding purposes is desirable.
Organised with strong administrative skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Knowledge of employment legislation .
