MiLo Group Ltd. is looking for an

HR Generalist

to become a key part of our team. You will support employees and leadership across Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan, while driving the transformation of our HR processes to be more efficient, organized, and digitally driven.

What You'll Do:



Support the full employee lifecycle - recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding Maintain accurate HR records and help transition documentation from paper to digital systems Administer benefits, vacation, and time-off tracking Perform payroll administration and data entry Track and maintain apprenticeship records, including school progress, on-the-job hours, and training milestones Provide guidance on company policies, HR best practices, and employment standards Assist with performance reviews, training, and development initiatives Prepare employment letters, contracts, and internal communications Partner with management on workplace culture, engagement, and conflict resolution Help identify opportunities to streamline processes, implement HR tools, and improve efficiency Support safety and compliance documentation in collaboration with field and office teams

What We're Looking For:



Diploma or certificate in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources, Management, or Business Administration Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation an asset, or working towards completion 3-5 years of progressive HR experience Alternate combinations of education and relevant work experience may be considered Strong knowledge of Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan employment standards Comfortable working with both paper-based and digital systems, with an interest in process improvement Exceptional communication and organizational skills Proven ability to handle sensitive information in strict confidence Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
