Job Summary:



This position is responsible of recruitment, employee relations, health & safety, performance management, regulatory compliance, training, and development.

Schedule:



Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:00pm

What you will do:



Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions. Collaborate with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors. Conduct investigations where necessary Ensure legal compliance of provincial regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR information systems and auditing for accuracy and compliance Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications. Design and implement effective training and development plans. Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labour legislation Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
