About Us



Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world's largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.


The Role



Reporting to the superintendent, human resources, you will be responsible for administering human resources services for the site. Working with human resources (HR), site management and supervisors, you will be responsible for matters regarding employee and labour relations, site recruitment activities, workforce planning and the delivery of human resources and employment benefits programs.


In this role, you will:



Act as support for front line leadership through employee coaching and mediation processes. Ensure access and understanding of corporate HR programs and resources. Assist in the management of employee performance and attendance. Encourage the adoption and sharing of best practices in employee relations.


Required:




A bachelor's degree in business, with a specialization in human resource management. Three to eight years of relevant work experience in human resources. Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered. Strong interpersonal, communication and coaching skills are required. Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.



Recommended:




A CPHR designation. Experience using HR management information systems, specifically Success Factors.
