EHS services are available for cats and dogs and we offer on-site sheltering and adoption as well as off-site fostering for special needs animals. Position Overview:

We are seeking an HR Coordinator to assist our HR team with various tasks and projects. This unpaid volunteer role requires a commitment of 5-10 hours per week and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the animal welfare sector.

Key Responsibilities:



Coordinate volunteer recruitment efforts, including posting opportunities and scheduling interviews. Intake and triage HR inquiries from different teams to appropriate HR team members. Organize training sessions, meetings, and HR events for volunteers. Manage and update volunteer databases and HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Help draft HR policies and communication materials. Assist with onboarding and orientation programs to support new volunteers. Collaborate with the other HR team members to improve HR processes and volunteer engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:



Experience or interest in HR, administration, or volunteer coordination. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Working under pressure and in a fast paced environment. Self-starter, ability to work in an ambiguous environment. Ability to manage multiple recruitment files at a time. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive and positive attitude. Enthusiasm for animal welfare and working in a collaborative, volunteer-driven environment.
