About the Position



We are seeking an HR Coordinator who is passionate about developing and growing their HR expertise with us. In this role, you will work closely with members of our HR team, on a diverse array of responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on a wide range of day-to-day operational recruitment tasks such as coordinating and scheduling interviews.

This role is a permanent full-time position based out of either our office in Burnaby, BC or Etobicoke, Ontario. This position is on-site due to the nature of our business. The successful candidate will also provide important administrative support throughout the entire employee life cycle.

How you will contribute:



Provide full-cycle recruitment support, including interview coordination, job postings, background checks and candidate closures; Continuously develop and implement strategies to streamline the recruitment process and improve sourcing. Coordinate and facilitate orientation and onboarding for new employees. Prepare internal HR-related documents including employment, promotion, and transfer letters. Support internal communications including drafting e-campaigns, posters, announcements and other initiatives, as needed. Maintain and safeguard employee data and HR documentation with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality. Supports the department on general administrative needs including expense reports and ad hoc requests.

What you will need to succeed:



A combination of post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field and / or at least one (1) year of related HR recruitment or customer service experience. Prior experience within retail or other customer-facing work environments is an asset and will support success in this position Basic understanding of employment law in British Columbia, Alberta & Ontario. Comfortable utilizing technology like an HRIS system and Excel to pull information and reporting. Superb oral and written communication skills and collaborating with staff and clients in a professional manner. Exceptional attention to detail and accountability to deliver. Exercise discretion, tact, and judgement in handling confidential and sensitive information. Proven ability to problem-solve, meet deadlines, and handle changing priorities. Ability to work well independently.

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
