Tasks and responsibilities:
Recruiting
Maintain job postings and resume databases
Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
Update job descriptions, job postings, initial candidate screening and interview process.
Onboarding
Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing paperwork and onboarding administration.
Payroll
Process semi-monthly payroll for salaried and commission employees
Assist with managing and maintaining employee attendance for payroll purposes
Benefits Plan
Administer employee benefits program
Employee Records
Update, maintain and secure all employee records and related data bases or information summaries.
Respond to Inquiries
General employee inquiries, Service Canada inquiries, Employee Reference checks etc.
Policy development and compliance
Assist in creating, updating, and implementing s, HR policies and procedures, ensuring they comply with employment laws and regulations.
Maintain employee manuals or policies as required.
