Job Summary:


The HR Coordinator at Samosa and Sweet Factory plays a key role in managing the complete employee life cycle for a standalone food manufacturing facility with 150+ hourly and salaried employees. This position is responsible for supporting recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and HR systems management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a manufacturing or food production environment and strong working knowledge of ADP and Synerion Agile HRIS systems.

Key Responsibilities:



Employee Life Cycle Management



Coordinate and manage end-to-end employee life cycle activities including hiring, onboarding, orientation, training documentation, performance tracking, promotions, transfers, and offboarding. Prepare and maintain employee files ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with employment standards. Draft and issue employment letters including offer letters, confirmation letters, job changes, and termination documentation.

Recruitment & Onboarding



Support full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried roles including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and reference checks. Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, uniform issuance, and system access setup. Ensure completion of all required documentation prior to employee start date.

Payroll & Time and Attendance



Coordinate payroll processing using

ADP

, ensuring accurate employee data, earnings, deductions, and status changes. Manage time and attendance using

Synerion Agile

, including shift schedules, punches, corrections, and approvals. Work closely with operations to resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.

Employee Relations



Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries related to policies, procedures, attendance, benefits, and workplace concerns. Support management in handling employee relations matters including attendance issues, disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution. Promote a positive, respectful, and compliant workplace culture.

Benefits Administration



Administer employee benefits programs including enrollment, changes, terminations, and employee education. Coordinate with benefits providers and support employees with benefit-related questions. Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure timely updates in HRIS systems.

Compliance & Policy Administration



Ensure compliance with employment standards, labor laws, food manufacturing regulations, and internal company policies. Support workplace health and safety documentation, training records, and audits. Assist with policy development, updates, and communication to employees.

HR Systems & Reporting



Maintain accurate employee records in

ADP

and

Synerion Agile

. Generate HR reports related to headcount, turnover, attendance, payroll, and compliance as required. Support continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.

Required Qualifications



Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum

2 years of hands-on experience

in an HR Coordinator or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment. Experience managing a

standalone workforce of 150+ hourly and salaried employees

. Strong working knowledge of

ADP (HRIS & Payroll)

and

Synerion Agile (Time & Attendance)

. Solid understanding of employment standards, payroll practices, and employee relations. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications



Experience in food manufacturing environments. HR certification (CHRP or working toward certification) is an asset. Experience supporting audits and compliance inspections.
