Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Manage end-to-end hiring processes using
Workday
, including job postings, candidate screening, and employment contract preparation.
Training & Development:
Identify training needs and implement programs to support teammate growth.
Teammate Relations:
Assist with terminations, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline while ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Policy & Compliance:
Monitor provincial employment standards and support leaders in maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
General HR Support:
Provide administrative assistance, coordinate events, and respond to operational needs.
Qualifications
Education:
Post-secondary education in HR is an asset
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of relevant HR experience
Skills:
+ Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
+ Knowledge of Canadian employment standards
+ High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
+ Previous experience with Workday is an asset.
