Human Resources Coordinator \xe2\x80\x93 Seasonal / Four (4) Month Term Position

Be part of our amazing team as a Human Resource Coordinator. This is a four (4) month term position with an expected start date in July of 2023 and end in October 2023.

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide operational support aligned with business objective to their designated operational client group(s).

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll Do Here:
  • Processes new employee hire information, changes in employee status for pay, recall and layoffs, etc by collecting completed forms, getting correct approval signatures, ensuring data is complete and entering data on human resource information systems. Establishes procedures required to standardize and record personnel transactions in an accurate and timely manner. Administer employee group benefits and update payroll, as necessary.
  • Research of provincial labour laws and information. Ensure adherence to provincial and federal employment guidelines.
  • Assist departments in the recruitment process for all manufacturing positions.
  • Verify and maintain the information and accuracy between the HRIS and payroll systems. Regular input and maintenance of the HR systems/databases including spreadsheets.
  • Provides administrative (and customer service to employees) support to the Human Resources department as required.
  • Prepares Deferred Profit-Sharing Plan information and distributes to eligible employees.
  • Maintains a confidential filing system for personnel and administrative records.
  • Participate in development and delivery of Human Resources related training sessions and materials.
  • Always represents Lifetouch in a professional manner while adhering to all Company policies and displays professionalism in all situations.
  • Administer, update, and maintain Health & Safety programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
The Skills You\xe2\x80\x99ll Bring:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Diploma/Certificate in Human Resources or related field.
  • One to three years of Human Resources experience preferably with an emphasis in employee relations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of HRIS systems/databases.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage change, multiple priorities, deadlines, and challenges.
  • Ability to propose change based on needs of the organization, changes in law and strategic efforts.
