Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Consultant from Asset management industry with expertise in setting up HR function for a 4-6 months contract. As the HR Consultant, you will play a critical role in establishing and optimizing HR department, processes, and practices to align with business objectives. You will work closely with leadership to design and implement HR strategies that enhance employee engagement, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines tailored to the organization\'s needs.
- Design an organizational structure for the HR department, defining roles and responsibilities.
- Create a streamlined onboarding process to ensure a positive new employee experience
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local, provincial, and federal regulations.
- Evaluate and recommend HR software and tools to streamline HR processes.

- Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master\'s degree preferred).
- Proven experience as an HR consultant, preferably with a focus on HR function setup.
- 10+ years experience within HR function
- Experience within Financial services preferably Asset management industry
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS/payroll software
- CHRL/CHRE certification an asset
