We\xe2\x80\x99re a fast-growing people solutions firm looking for a strong HR leader with consulting experience to help us get to the next level! There\'s more about us down below, but this is about you:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Here\xe2\x80\x99s an overview about what you can expect to own in your new role \xe2\x80\xa6 * HR Consulting:

  • Providing on-demand HR support to your portfolio of customers, helping them navigate simple questions like vacation entitlement and complex questions like investigations. This may include some HR administration.
  • Creating and delivering HR programs and procedures, including developing policy manuals, employment agreements and programs for: onboarding, terminations, learning and development, performance management, rewards and recognition, internal communications, compensation and more. All the HR things.
  • Client Management:
  • Building relationships that matter with each of your customers to develop a deep understanding of their goals, their culture, their style, their needs, their dreams. Okay, the \xe2\x80\x9cdreams\xe2\x80\x9d part might be a bit of a stretch \xe2\x80\xa6 but you get the idea: we take relationships seriously!
  • Delivering an exceptional client experience will inevitably lead to referrals, and that\xe2\x80\x99s how we like to grow! You will foster and nurture referrals into successful new relationships and build your client portfolio.
  • You can expect a big chunk of your time to be spent meeting, speaking, emailing, and occasionally even snail-mailing with customers to understand their recruitment needs, refer candidates, address concerns, and coordinate logistics.
  • Strategic Projects:
  • Leading dynamic projects for our clients that solve people problems. This may include succession planning, recruitment design, recruitment marketing & advertising, technology selection & implementation, employer branding, accessibility, and more.
  • Internal Human Resources:
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and programs which enable Envol to meet our goals and grow sustainably while continuing to \xe2\x80\x9cdelight\xe2\x80\x9d our clients.
  • Collaborating with our CEO on succession planning strategies and identifying learning opportunities to grow and scale our team.
  • Creating and implementing an intentional and dynamic employee engagement initiatives to foster an inclusive, equitable and engaging workplace for our team.
  • Encourage our value of continuous learning by identifying or facilitating training opportunities.
  • Managing all HR administration including payroll, benefits, vacation management and grant applications.
  • Continuously evaluating our processes and procedures to ensure they are at the forefront of HR and DEI best practices.
YOUR BACKGROUND & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at a leadership level.
  • Previous experience in an HR consulting role, working as an external consultant with multiple companies and across various industries.
  • You have Post-Secondary education, ideally in business or an HR-related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Employment, Labour, and Human Rights statutes/legislation both Federally and Provincially.
  • Take ownership to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments and organizational goals, including delegating to your team.
  • Give a damn about creating impact and delivering experiences that delight, so you want to be part of (and lead) a performance-oriented culture.
  • Identify opportunity, develop solutions, and constantly drive forward.
  • Consistently deliver exceptional service.
  • Proven relationship builder with trust, confidence, and credibility.

  • This role is heavily focused on client and account management, so demonstrated experience and a track record of success managing stakeholder relationships will set you apart!

  • CPHR designation is a bonus!
  • Vehicle required to travel to clients across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
