The Position



The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) provides strategic and operational HR support to designated client groups. This role is responsible for aligning HR programs with business objectives, supporting leaders in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development. The HRBP must be able to operate at all levels of the HR discipline--strategic, operational, and tactical--while fostering a culture of engagement, performance, and continuous improvement.



Key Accountabilities

Accountability 1:

Strategic HR Partnership

Lead and support HR programs aligned with business strategies, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, and learning and development. Partner with leaders to review, develop, and implement effective HR policies and practices. Champion a culture of excellence and engagement across the organization.

Accountability 2:

Talent Acquisition & Management

Manage full-cycle recruitment, partnering with leaders to identify and fulfill resourcing needs. Support onboarding, retention, and succession planning initiatives. Collaborate with Learning & Development to deliver training and career mobility programs.

Accountability 3:

Employee Relations & Compliance

Guide leaders in resolving employee relations issues through coaching and problem-solving. Ensure compliance with employment legislation, human rights, and workplace regulations. Maintain ethical and professional standards in all HR practices.

Accountability 4:

Organizational Development & Analytics

Analyze engagement survey results and support leaders in developing action plans. Use HR data and trends to identify opportunities for operational improvement. Contribute to the development of HR programs and best practices.

Education and Experience:



Diploma or equivalent in Business, Human Resources or related program is required. 4-5 years' experience within a Human Resource department is required, of which 3 years must be within an HRBP role. Completed or working towards CPHR designation preferred. Demonstrated experience in the various HR functional areas, especially talent acquisition, employee relations, and organization development. Proficiency with digital tools and software such Dayforce HCM.

Job Specific Competencies:



Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
