Summary:
Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating with strategic HR Partners, the HR Administration role at Remuda supports and coordinates the organization's human resources initiatives. This developmental position involves working closely with managers to uphold Remuda's policies and procedures, facilitate HR processes, and drive people initiatives. Key responsibilities include managing talent, compensation, and benefits, ensuring policy compliance, and overseeing HR information systems. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of HR regulations and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the recruitment process:
Source and hire candidates to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume review, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
Onboarding
Facilitate the smooth onboarding of new employees, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support for a successful transition.
Coordinate with HRIS and other systems to ensure accurate and timely onboarding procedures.
Employee Relations & Retention:
Address employee queries regarding programs, policies, and file management.
Participate in internal event planning including organization of social committee meetings and execution.
Offboarding
Ensure a comprehensive offboarding process, including IT, HR, safety, payroll, and program exit procedures.
Conduct exit interviews when applicable and gather feedback to enhance employee experience and retention strategies.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
Utilize HR Information systems for onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing HR tasks, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Document and update HR policies and procedures as required.
Manages and facilitates leaves such as Disability leaves, Maternity/Paternity leaves, WCB, leave of absence, sick leaves, etc.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
Demonstrated 1+ years of focused experience in Human Resources, it would be a major asset to have exposure to multiple facets of Human Resources (recruitment & selection, performance management, training & development, etc.)
College Diploma or University Degree in Human Resources would be an asset.
Working towards a professional designation would be an asset
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to build excellent relationships at all levels within the organization.
Understanding of employment standards across Canada
Ability to maintain confidentiality
