We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Administrator for a 14-month contract position. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the
Human Resources Administrator
ensures the smooth running of the office, provides administrative support to the HR Manager and all employees, maintains the confidentiality of employee information, and provides guidance to managers and employees on the completion of administrative documentation.
Duties
Order and maintain levels of office supplies and consumables
Maintain all office equipment such as photocopier/printer
Manage the mail room including ensuring maintaining the postage meter, preparing and dropping off mail, distributing incoming mail/couriers, and preparing couriers
Arrange business lunches and assist with social committee functions
Manage the new hire and onboarding processes
Prepare documentation for Payroll including preparation and submission of Records of Employment
Update benefits information with the benefits carrier
Complete all employer-related disability forms and manage the program
Manage the leaves programs
Ensure completeness of training records
Attend safety meetings and support plant safety initiatives
Ensure the front office, stationary room and kitchen are organized and neat
Qualifications
2 - 3 years Human Resources administration experience
Degree or diploma in Human Resources or equivalent work experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Knowledge of Kronos (Workforce Dimensions) and Oracle an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
