We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a skilled HR Administrative Coordinator to support the logistics involved in bringing top tier talent that demonstrates the Gibson Way into the company, along with supporting day-to-day HR priorities. The ideal candidate will have solid administrative / office management skills; prior experience in recruitment and/or human resources is an asset. If you have a passion for providing administrative support for a large team, an interest in Human Resources and finding diverse candidates find promising careers, we want to hear from you!

What You\'ll Be Doing
  • Acting as an employment brand ambassador by ensuring Gibson Energy is a great place to work by promoting the Gibson Way.
  • Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Team to gain a good understanding of hiring needs and expectations.
  • Handling the day-to-day administrative logistics related to recruitment activities including scheduling interviews, providing calendar management, coordinating and monitoring background checks and pre-employment tests, and creating offer packages
  • Managing the recruitment email inbox and responding to inquiries on a timely basis
  • Managing internal website and SharePoint content including coordinating maintenance and updates of materials such as offer letters, job description library, and other employee lifecycle letters and events
  • Organizing and attending HR events, including career fairs
  • Administering Gibson\xe2\x80\x99s Scholarship Program and Employee Referral Bonus Program to track and monitor awards / commitments
  • Support to coordinate employee wellness and financial sessions
  • Supporting the creation and distribution of HR communications
  • Able to take a proactive approach in anticipating business needs in advance of the need
  • Demonstrating a personal commitment and proactive approach to Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) through participation in all applicable EH&S programs and ensuring safe operation of the branch, team or unit and compliance with all Company EH&S policies and procedures
  • May perform other duties as assigned.


What You\'ll Bring
  • 5+ years of administrative / office management experience
  • Exceptional communication, intuition/problem-solving, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle competing priorities
  • Proficient in using business software, eg; Microsoft Office, Teams, etc.
  • Recruitment / HR experience and/or a Business Administration Certificate or Diploma is an asset
  • Familiarity with job boards and experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (eg; Success Factors) is an asset.

Working Conditions
  • Most work is performed in an office environment and /or virtually using MS Teams
  • Travel may be required up to 10% of the time to work with colleagues at our field locations
