We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources & Accounting Administrator to join our team. This dynamic role plays a key part in keeping people, processes, and programs running smoothly. The successful candidate supports the full employee lifecycle--from recruitment and onboarding to training, payroll, and benefits administration--while ensuring accurate records and compliance across HR, payroll, and accounting systems. The HR & Accounting Administrator acts as a trusted point of contact for staff inquiries, coordinating agency-wide training and events, and contributing to meaningful reporting that supports informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update employee records using the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Payroll systems to reflect staff changes such as hires, promotions, resignations, leaves, and terminations.
Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities.
Processes full-cycle payroll, including timesheet verification, earnings calculations, benefit and deduction processing (e.g., taxes, union dues, pension, etc).
Prepare and verify payroll reports, Records of Employment (ROEs), year-end tax documents (T4s), and statutory filings.
Administer employee benefit plan.
Process, verify and code vendor invoices. Prepare vendor payments and reconcile any outstanding balances.
Reconcile bank accounts, prepare financial summaries, and support financial reporting and audits.
Assist with budget preparation and provides related documentation and reports as needed.
If you have a post-secondary
diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or Human Resources
, experience in payroll administration, HR and accounting functions, and have knowledge of employment standards, payroll legislation, and benefits administration, this may be the role for you!
