Key Responsibilities



Houseperson is an integral part of Rooms Operation in Rosemead House. This position oversees day-to-day operations of Housekeeping, and closely working with Room Attendants and Maintenance department. This position directly reports to Rooms Operations Manager/ Supervisor.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and restrooms. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with guests and colleagues. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens in public restrooms and other designated areas. Transport linens, towels, and other supplies between housekeeping and laundry areas. Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning and turnover of guest rooms as needed. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services. Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste. Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces for meetings, conferences, or special events. Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department. Follow hotel policies and procedures related to cleanliness, safety, and guest service. Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless and positive guest experience. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and practices to maintain a clean and hygienic environment. Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on hotel standards and procedures. Launder bed linens, towels, and other textiles. Assist front desk with night calls to rooms, and room service. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills



Minimum 6 months of housekeeping experience preferably in luxury hotel setting is an asset. Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times. Exceptional organizational and time-management proficiencies Proficient in cleaning methodologies, sanitation standards, and the operation of cleaning equipment. Must be able to push/pull up to 100 lbs, and lift/carry up to 20 lbs. Walk and stand for extended periods of time, and lift/ Push upwards of 50 Lbs Proficiency in independent and team-oriented work environments. Strong time management abilities and adeptness in task prioritization. Impeccable attention to detail. Effective communication skills and a polished, welcoming demeanor. Must be a team player Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
