Job Description

Brabant Lodge is a full-service fly-in sport fishing lodge located on an island in the headwaters of the Mackenzie River, Northwest Territories. We are located approximately 50 kilometres by floatplane from Hay River, Northwest Territories. We serve breakfast and dinner to our guests in our main lodge; box lunches and thermoses are prepared before guests leave for fishing every morning. The successful applicant can expect this position to be a combination of server, housekeeper, and kitchen helper. You will be required to do all three jobs. Serving duties include setting up, serving, and cleaning tables, doing dishes, and more. Housekeeping duties include spring cleaning, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, washing floors, and more. Kitchen helper duties include assisting in food preparation, and more. The successful applicants will be able and willing to perform all duties on a regular basis as part of our team of lodge shore staff. Additional Salary information: Gratuities (tips) are a standard part of server/housekeeper/kitchen helper job. Benefits: Room and Board \xe2\x80\x93 includes meals, laundry facilities, detergents etc., bedding, linens, towels, are all included at no charge. Mandatory Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, pleasant nature, ability to work well with others, serving/bartending/kitchen experience an asset.
