Job Title:

Casual Housekeeper/Laundry (Environmental Service Worker)

LIMITED RECRUITMENT INITIATIVE*

Anyone hired from

November 2025 to May 2026

in the Housekeeping Department will have an

immediate

pay increase to

$18.77 per hour

after

completing in-house orientation hours.

Additional initiatives:

Weekend Shift Premium

of an additional

$2.35/hourfor shifts worked on weekends

You will be responsible for performing duties related to maintaining a clean and sanitary environment and clean, healthy and sanitary linen.

Experience and Qualifications Considered an Asset:

Previous experience in housekeeping and/or laundry Experience in long-term care or similar setting Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment Enjoy working with seniors Possesses exemplary Customer Service skills Effective communication, both written and verbal, in English with residents, families and co-workers Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy in all aspects of the organization Reliable with good attendance and cheerful disposition Must take initiative and able to work with minimum supervision Respectful and hardworking team player Demonstrate the use of proper body mechanics Maintain a clean and sanitary environment Criminal Record Check including the Vulnerable Sector Screening in the last

3 months is required
