Job Description

Job responsibilities include but are not exclusive to:



Cleaning/disinfecting/sanitizing throughout the entire home i.e. vacuuming, cleaning carpets, sweeping, wet/dry mopping, scrubbing, sanitizing/disinfecting floors, washing & spot cleaning walls, washing windows and doors, dusting, emptying wastebaskets, rearranging furniture, removing waste, replenishing supplies, cleaning & polishing floors, cleaning fixtures & furnishings, etc. Operating equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, chemical dispensers, etc. Loading/unloading commercial washing machines & dryers Folding/sorting/delivering laundry Stocking carts and closets with supplies

Desired Experience:



Experience in healthcare, preferably long term care Understanding of chemicals and equipment used in cleaning

Education & Skills:



Grade 12 Certificate Ability to follow written and oral instruction

Requirement:



Criminal Reference Check conducted by a police force within 6 months Step 2 TB test Negative COVID-19 Test

Compensation:



Incremental wage increases as per Collective Bargaining Agreement
Job Types: Casual, Permanent

Pay: $19.34-$23.26 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
