Wynn Park Villa is currently seeking a casual Housekeeping employee.

Housekeeping

Housekeeping staff are responsible for the cleanliness of the facility including resident rooms, nursing wing, public areas etc. The successful candidate must demonstrate dependability, be able to work in a team environment and to follow verbal and written instructions. The candidate must demonstrate a genuine concern for the residents at our Long-Term Care Facility.

Follows safety, environmental and infection control practices as per Facility policies. Responsible for the daily cleanliness of all rooms, bathrooms, hallways and general cleanliness of the entire wing Responsible for cleanliness of all common areas (e.g. common room, activity room etc.) Responsible for deep clean in rooms when resident is either discharged or transferred.

Shift Availability:

10 Hour Shifts; 7:30am to 5:30pm (mostly on-call with some Pre-booked) Weekday, Weekend, and Holiday availability

Qualifications:

Grade 12 education or equivalent Standard First Aid and CPR certification as asset Reliable with good attendance record Respectful and hardworking team player with professional and courteous manner Experience working in a Long-Term Care or Home Care Setting an asset Clear Criminal Record Abstract and Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months
