Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient service delivery
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order as needed
- Handle guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Collaborate with maintenance department for repairs and maintenance needs
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or custodial role, preferably in a hospitality or hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
