Job Description

Key Responsibilities:




Lead and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction by maintaining cleanliness standards. Conduct daily inspections of public areas and guestrooms, ensuring that rooms are clean and in good condition. Provide training and guidance to new and existing employees, fostering team development and motivation. Manage staff schedules, adjust work assignments based on guest arrivals and departures, and maintain accurate time logs. Monitor lost and found procedures, ensuring all found items are properly recorded and delivered to the Housekeeping office. Facilitate effective communication between staff and management, ensuring the efficient operation of the housekeeping department. Stay knowledgeable about hotel services and amenities to promote these offerings when appropriate. Comply with all safety and emergency response protocols, and report any safety hazards or incidents. Complete all administrative tasks such as opening, closing, and daily operational paperwork.

Qualifications:




Previous experience in housekeeping, with supervisory experience preferred. Strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage a team. Attention to detail and ability to spot areas needing improvement. Excellent communication skills to maintain open dialogue with staff and guests. * Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
