Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction by maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of public areas and guestrooms, ensuring that rooms are clean and in good condition.
• Provide training and guidance to new and existing employees, fostering team development and motivation.
• Manage staff schedules, adjust work assignments based on guest arrivals and departures, and maintain accurate time logs.
• Monitor lost and found procedures, ensuring all found items are properly recorded and delivered to the Housekeeping office.
• Facilitate effective communication between staff and management, ensuring the efficient operation of the housekeeping department.
• Stay knowledgeable about hotel services and amenities to promote these offerings when appropriate.
• Comply with all safety and emergency response protocols, and report any safety hazards or incidents.
• Complete all administrative tasks such as opening, closing, and daily operational paperwork.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in housekeeping, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to spot areas needing improvement.
• Excellent communication skills to maintain open dialogue with staff and guests.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
