Housekeeping Supervisor
to oversee our cleaning team, coordinate property maintenance, and ensure that our homes meet top-quality standards.
Position Overview:
The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead our team of cleaners, ensuring that every property is guest-ready and meets company and Airbnb standards. This role involves coordinating cleaning schedules, monitoring quality control, managing inventory, and providing ongoing training and support to cleaning staff. The ideal candidate is highly organized, fluent in both
English and Spanish
, and has experience managing people and cleaning operations in a hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of professional cleaners to ensure all Airbnb properties are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
Recruit, train, and onboard new cleaning team members following company policy.
Collaborate with the Reservation Team and use software such as
Breezeway
and
Housecall Pro
to manage efficient cleaning schedules and ensure timely property readiness.
Conduct property inspections, amenity checks and enforce quality control measures in line with Airbnb standards.
Track and resupply cleaning inventory and equipment, maintaining adequate stock levels.
Provide coaching and performance feedback to cleaning staff.
Resolve guest or client complaints related to cleanliness in coordination with the customer service team.
Communicate regularly with management regarding property status, maintenance issues, and team performance.
Continuously improve cleaning procedures, productivity, and team efficiency.
Enforce health and safety standards and ensure a safe workplace for all staff.
Prepare performance reports and identify trends or areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience supervising a cleaning or housekeeping team, ideally in hospitality, vacation rentals, or Airbnb operations.
Must be fluent in
English and Spanish
(spoken and written).
Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, methods, and products.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with
Airbnb operations and property management
is preferred.
Basic computer skills (Spreadsheet) and experience using operational software such as
Breezeway
or
Housecall Pro
.
Commitment to safety and compliance with health regulations.
Valid
driver's license
and
vehicle
for travel between properties, inspections and restocking runs.
