: \xc2\xb7 To assist in the direction and co-ordination of the daily duties of the Housekeeping Department, particularly in the absence of the Department Manager \xc2\xb7 Assists in the scheduling and training of new employees \xc2\xb7 Assists in all areas of the Housekeeping department when required, Rooms and Laundry \xc2\xb7 Co-ordinate all special projects pertaining to Housekeeping Dept. i.e.: Deep Cleaning, mattress rotation, renovation projects etc. \xc2\xb7 Inventory Counts/ Controls/Replenishment \xc2\xb7 Inspect Guest Room & Public areas to ensure Standards are adhered to \xc2\xb7 Document & record all maintenance deficiencies and follow up \xc2\xb7 Maintain Hotel Lost & Found procedures as established \xc2\xb7 Perform opening (AM) and Closing (PM) duties daily \xc2\xb7 Communicate between Room attendants and Front desk EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: \xc2\xb7 Previous supervisory experience in similar work environment \xc2\xb7 Must have the ability to motivate, train and lead team players \xc2\xb7 Must be well organized, self-motivated and be capable of working without supervision \xc2\xb7 Must be able to handle problems and make sound decisions under pressure \xc2\xb7 Ability to deal effectively with customer complaints and staffing \xc2\xb7 Must have excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills \xc2\xb7 Must be honest, reliable and dependable Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Salary: Per Collective Agreement Work Remotely
