The

Room Inspector

conducts detailed inspections of guest rooms to ensure consistent adherence to quality and cleanliness standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


TeamWillingness to accept the most effective role. Complete daily duties in accordance with Kaizen processes and procedures. Promote a safe workplace by following the Occupational Health & Safety Act. Conduct daily arrival and departure inspections as assigned. Inspect linen rooms and carts for cleanliness. Assist with Room Attendant duties during off-season or when needed. Perform additional tasks as assigned by management. Close with an open mentality. Keep all areas in like-new condition and website ready.

GuestEnsure guests are greeted and acknowledged consistently, adhering to the 10/5 Rule. Follow HotSOS guidelines consistently. Report any room inspection failures to the Floor Supervisor. Inspect unoccupied rooms for cleanliness, proper thermostat settings, maintenance issues, lights off, and unauthorized use. Check stay-over units to ensure doors and windows are locked, lights are off, and thermostat is set; remove garbage and linens. Ensure linen carts are fully stocked, clean, and well-maintained. Record and report maintenance deficiencies promptly. Return all keys and iPod at the end of each shift. Communicate with guests in a professional and friendly manner.

Qualifications & Traits

Familiar with sanitation, laundry operations, and guest service standards. Experienced in professional cleaning and room inspection. Strong oral communication skills. Reliable, with excellent attendance and able to handle high responsibility. Committed to exceeding guest expectations through exceptional service.

Physical Requirements

Capable of walking, standing, crawling, bending, stretching, twisting, and climbing for the duration of your shift. Capable of kneeling, crouching, lifting up to and including above your head, and repetitive movements. Dexterity of the hands with ability to squeeze hands, twist and rotate wrists and elbows. Lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25lbs Capable of working in a hot, humid and chlorinated environment. Ability to hear for communication with guests, has spatial perception. Making a bed, including bunk beds by climbing a ladder, getting on to the bed. Visual acuity to see near and far. Climbing up to 4 flights of stairs Working at a fast pace.

Additional Requirements


Newly hired Pack Members must submit a completed police clearance to Human Resources. Employment may begin before the results are received, based on the Pack Member's confirmation that they have no unpardoned criminal convictions.
