Shift varies from AM and PM, including weekdays and weekends.

Must be able to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).

RESPONSIBILITIES

(Including but not limited to):

Clean and spotlessly prepare the required number of assigned guestrooms to Hilton Brand Standards, which includes but is not restricted to, bedrooms, living areas, and bath facilities. Maintain in accordance to Hilton standards all aspects of dusting, scrubbing, washing, vacuuming, supplies, placement, carpet and upholstery care for all areas of responsibility. Self-inspection of every room before releasing the room for sale to Guests, including: Maintenance and upkeep of the room*
Room smelling fresh*
Complete cleanliness*
Everything in the room is in working order*
Placement and st*andards upheld
Carry out morning vacant room checks and report any discrepancies. Cleanliness and tidiness of all public areas corridors, and service areas. Attend to guest requests promptly and efficiently. Adhere to Hotel Health and Safety, Fire, Emergency and Security procedures Carry out specialized cleaning projects to approved levels of competency and productivity, assigned verbally or in writing by the Housekeeping management team. Ensure Housekeeping equipment is maintained, clean and in serviceable condition. Correctly use various cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment and dispense Housekeeping chemicals in accordance with WHMIS Guidelines. Report and follow up on any maintenance defects and safety hazards found in all areas. Attend all departmental meetings, and briefings. Other duties as assigned by managementQualifications: Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping environment an asset Must be in good physical condition. Duties as assigned may include repetitive bending, high lifting, heavy pushing and carrying/lifting. o Lifting/carrying: on average, up to 20 lbs o Pulling: on average, up to 50 lbs. Strong guest service skills are essential Able to work with a variety of chemicals/cleaning supplies. WHMIS certificate an asset. Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays Desire to work in a team based environment Good verbal and written communication skills
