Job Summary

Residence Inn by Marriott Mississauga is searching for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Only candidates that have a positive customer service attitude will be considered. Candidates must be available weekend and weekdays.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas. Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free from dust, dirt, and debris. Replace linens and towels as needed, ensuring that all items are clean and well-presented. Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products in guest rooms and public areas. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management.

Skills

Previous hospitality or cleaning experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
